Has anyone fitted the 1200/1250 HP footrests to a GS 1300? Just wondering if they are a direct swap and if they use the same return springs etc.

If you are talking about the option 719 ones, yes I bought a set from a seller that were off a 1250 and it was an easy fit.
In fact when I ungraded my bike, I removed them and still have them as my new bike came with them fitted

Can anyone explain just what HP footrests are please?
I had BMW Gilles branded on my R1250GS and they fitted the replacement 1300GS straight swap
i since bought a set of BMW pegs, gear lever & brake for the 1300 off here

These also fitted my R1300GS but as I bought a nice set of pegs, gear lever and brake lever earlier this week off here

Pair of what were branded BMW Motarrad adjustable footpegs
They have rubber inserts which compress should you need to stand revealing 2 short grip spikes
I bought the original pair from North Oxford Motoradd end of 2020
There was a recall as there had been instances of cracks appearing near the fixings
Replacements have been faultless
There was a detailed post on here...

My bike came fitted with 719 footrests.
Very nice bling, very expensive, if I were buying myself I’d find something less expensive.

No, they are from the 1300, the 1200/1250 footrests are larger.
Gilles made but BMW branded aluminium footrests.
