Strangely I asked about this a couple of weekends ago when I took my HP2 in for the front suspension. Asked the sales guy there and he said he can still get me a 08 model pretty easily this year when I enquired if I can trade mine in on a new model Is it maybe a marketing ploy

He could not say whether they will be making them next year still but seems like you could still get them this year....all very bizarre indeed

As of yesterday the specs were still posted on the BMW USA web site. Could be because of a few unsold ones still on this side of the pond.
