:help please.

I have ordered heated grips for my HP2 :D

:banghead:
I am having a problem in the UK getting the righthand switch gear required :tears

BMW say they are on backorder with no delivery date given :whip

:idea Can anyone in Mainland Europe help ?

Can you telephone your local dealer and ask if they have the part below?
I would be very grateful :bow

Description: Switch RH Multi for Heated Handgrip.
The part number: 61 31 7 698 424

I have the same problem. Trying to get Vines to fit them at my 600mile service on Friday.

I should think myself lucky then as mine turned up and were fitted FOC (at 12K for a bike they should be!). Ordering time was only a couple of days. Switchgear is identical to v. latest 1200GS type bar a change in the kill switch knob I think?

HP2 tests in M&L & BMWCar

Couldn't agree more - and I said so in my tests of the HP2.
Most recent version of my Hafren Rally story is now out in the April 06 edition of the CSMA mag Motoring & Leisure - at 2 pages it's a lot less hacked than the very short version used in the Spring edition of BMW Bikes magazine.
An even longer (and subtly different) version graced 3 pages of BMW Car magazine, back in February, but I've only just seen a copy on returning from the Rally of Discovery in Cyprus. HP2 owners Messrs Gunn & Marriott were also present, although we were all riding somewhat humbler steeds on the superb Cypriot trails. An HP2 would be awesome over there!
