It's not Timolgra's or anyone elses, It's just come with me to my new home.... Hopefully it will get more use now as i'm in mid Wales..I'm not surprised you are keeping it, values are going up.
At what point will it get to before you think it's too valuable to take off road?
Is it not possible to take a standard GS12 take all the rubbish off and fit a HPN tank HP2 seat unit and Ohlins shock and achieve a similar bike, without the cache of course. Would it not be possible to create a much cheaper version? Are they polar opposites?

Is it yourself that's been looking at the KTM 1190?
Yep.. got an 1190r... just been round picos and pyraneese for 2 weeks. .. great bit of kit

It would be interesting to me if KTM took the 1190R and made its own version of the HP2, more of a travel enduro, they could fit front and rear fuel tanks similar to the 450RR to balance the bike and still reduce the overall weight.
What are your thoughts Rocky, would this be viable?
My HP2 went to a new home and a new owner yesterday, and I had to watch him riding away on it.![]()
What ?? And why ??
