After reading some many glowing reports i decided to take the plunge and place an order...not that simple it seems! Dealer showed me a letter from BM stating carbon fibre supply problems means delivery dates are being put back and cant say now when or indeed if i could get one for next year! Anyone got any more info? Like anything isnt it, now i have been told i cant have one, i want one even more!

I know of one that may become available tomorrow. 0 miles on the clock (or near enough) UK spec bike, none of that foreign nonsense.
10% over list should do it.

i've a deposit on one that i dont want now, dealer will give me a refund but if you want to take it over all i want is the deposit amount.

Unsurprisingly im not keen on paying over the odds, but transfer of deposit sounds a good option. I am however 'up North' but wonder if the order can be picked up by my local dealer and the bike can come to them directly? I will pop in and see them in the next few days and find out! Have you had a expected delivery date given to you recently?
vines BMW have one in the show room not brandy spanky new but it does look the business
Ask for Duncan Bell or Chris Cooke tell'em I sent you they had it stashed away, well in the middle of the show room on a revolving turntable

no delivery date just sometime in 09, i doubt they'll let your local dealer take on the sale.

i spoke to the bmw at the bike show they say they have sorted the supply problem and sorced another carbon supplier, and the bikes should come more available .i have had one on order since august but they are promising 1st of march
