If I really had to do it... I would follow Michaelmy's approach....

Mavette says absolutely not... So that should tell you all you need to know :D

.....thanks for shaming me in public Mr Nutty, infact it came with the bike. It's more a like a scaled down fridge, beautifully custom made and colour coded to match the MM.
Please note it was immediately removed and now resides hidden in the roof!
You can borrow it anytime Bud.

I have a good friend who has this problem but unfortunately he doesn't have many spanners or welders to hand
I have offered to help him and didnt know where to start other than the poxy aluminium rack on the back is not fit foe that purpose
I have welded up Jono's and my mates was fooooked just the same
I needed either a donor of rack and box or advice / pictures etc
This helpful site has provided help yet again up to know :clap :clap
Me Dr350 is having a de-coking at moment so if one came up at the right price for me !!!!!!!!
I once said the HP2 was just a DR weighted bike with a rocket engine
I actually think they are better than that :thumb

Hi Mick

As you know the rear is light weight and not strong, So I made this rack to use with a loop bag and for mounting my tool bags for day rides

I’m sure you could mount a top box to the rack, so might give you some ideas what can be home made

Off topic but that is one seriously nice looking bike you've got there. Nice work:thumby:

That is a very very good way of sorting the rediculous problem of the weak tail on the HP2
well done and thanks :thumb

I used the holan racks to add bracing to the rear as they fit to the footpeg hangers and also protect the akrapovic which hangs on carbon
