Selling my HP2e which I have owned for a good few years

12537 kilometers on the clock

Good condition

I have spare supermoto wheels and pannier rails to go with it

£15,000

Located in North London

It's currently on an Isle of Man plate so would need re registering in the UK. Has been previously registered here so all that is need to reregister is an MOT based on the VIN number and V55/5 form completed and I think a £65 fee paying for re issue of old V5

I remember riding Skygod’s in Oklahoma - very impressive machine!

TBH, you've got a very limited audience in here, and most that'd want one, have one, and they are quite specialised. I'd try eBay, or maybe car and classic - I've seen them on there previously

Just had a full ankle replacement 6 weeks ago
So need to see what it’s like with cast off see what the ankles like
Not rode one before, what’s the seat height like compared to a GSA 1200?
Not often you get them with the supermoto wheels too
If it’s still about when I get cast off and through a bit physio I’ll give you a shout and pop down to London
Dare I say good luck with the sale …… yep I will as someone else with 2 ankles might pop along 1st

When they came out in 2006 they were the same price as a GSA 1200 If I remember correctly. Albeit a bit more for the super moto wheels . I had a go at South London motorcycles and loved it . Fitted Perfectly and rode really well .Went for the new GSA but often wonder why I didn’t buy the HP2 , Now Inhave a G/S 12 and though it’s no HP2 it reminds me of it . GLWTS

I just came back from riding my HP2E on a a 2000 mile odd trip, mixed surfaced and unsurfaced roads


What struck me the most, when I jumped on my KTM 1290 SAR on return, was how big and heavy it was, when I hadn’t noticed it at all previously. The KTM dry weight is some 45kg more than the dry HP2.

Even the 12 g/s is 40kg more.

Depends what you are doing, because the engine is a bit on the raw side and it’s certainly taller than any GS, but there’s nothing like it.

why do these things only ever come up when I don't have a garage big enough or a decent excuse for the missus.... if it ever comes back round for sale do let me know... as I still need one to complete the set.

The HP2 and KTM 950 se are very special bikes,they will never be built again.
Due to emissions,blah blah.
Modern 500cc bikes weigh as much as these things.
If you’ve got the dosh,have some fun and have one.
They really are something else!
