Just recieved my new hugger, ordered what I thought was going to be a plastic Powerbronze, but took delivery of a fibreglass non seconds Pyramid, which after fitting doesn't appear to be rubbing(like they used to) all for the sum of £46.99.... BARGAIN ? ?
:D :beerjug: :D

till you find out it does not work, wait till it rains then checkout the shite all over the back of your bike.

I learnt the same way but unfortunatly mine was a £105 FU

why?

I have got a similar problem i,ve got on what could be described as a substansial rear hugger yet when it rain,s the whole backend is clattered with crud.

I posted sometime ago (with photo's) showing the mess the hugger causes when it rains. I was very annoyed that I bought the thing @ the dealers when picking the bike up and they did not suggest I spend my money on something else of more use. The dealer knew they did not work, it just spreads the crap all over the backend. I have removed the mud scraper thing as I have a theory that the crap is coming off the hugger and hitting that causing it to splatter allover the rear. Unfortunatly I have not had chance to test the theory yet but very soon I will, looks a lot better without the rubber thing on anyway.

Hugg me tyres!

I have got a Pyramid hugger which was £70 from the London MCN show last year from the Skidmarks stall, it works well if you fit the Touratech rear stoneguard thingy that goes behind your number plate as this stops the crud that the hugger dosn't and visa versa, andy

Agreed - bit under rear plate with hugger works. Back end still gets filthy on long wet runs, but nowhere near as bad as it used to be.
