1200GS Hugger

Here you go......after much research, we decided that there is only one place to securely mount the rear hugger: via the brake caliper, longer bolts for which are included in the fitting kit. Available from Motorrad Concepts, link at the top of the page....

hello,

is it a bugger to fit the hugger? roughly how long timewise to fit?

yes, it would be nice to see some photos in the original bike colours. when it comes next week or so, mine is red. so, some nice photos with the huggers in red would be nice, dutch and cool carbon.

thanks

It takes about 30 minutes to fit the rear hugger.

I'll be placing more pix of the carbon fibre hugger on our website this coming week........but the images of the coloured ones won't be available for another couple of weeks.......

As CC says the colour match is 100%, not least because BMW are supplying the paint!!

Apart from prototypes, there are no customer painted huggers/fenders in circulation.

The paintwork is as durable as the OE painwork on the bike's body panels and we're not anticipating any undue deterioration in normal use.

ok thanks for all the help.........i willl wait for red coloured huggers to be put up on site..thanks

This is my first posting since having been browsing the site over the last few months. However, I've just received my long awaited carbon hugger from Motorrad Concepts and can testify to it's excellence. It's like a piece of jewellery, beautifully engineered and finished. I'm just looking forward to getting home and fitting it to the bike. It should do a great job in keeping me, the missus & bike clean. Well done Dutchman & the MC team.:D
