Has anyone any view's on the Hugger, I've seen the comments on the earlier thread's and it looks like the Pyramid ones have been improved, but are they worth it?

It certainly helps keep the crap off the Shock.
I had a Pyramid but found that as I rode two up most of the time, it kept clouting the undertray.
I ended up with one from www.gs-fun-factory.de which is closer to the tyre and onlt touches occasionally on full compression.
Checkout my bike at www.coolcarbon.net , It fits via the rear brake pipe locating loop and the bottom shock mounting bolt.
