Haven't been down there for a while but often used it when at the Reading meetings.

Can get very deep/fast flowing at times and the concrete base is usually covered in algae so can also be slippery - keep it upright and steady throttle

Cheers. I used to live in Woodley and cut across round there from Twyford off the A4 and can't remember seeing it! Yet the road across the old airfield was often flooded!
