hyperpro replacement springs

Unless you're going to replace the springs on a practically new set of shocks, I wouldn't have thought it was worth it. Good springs on shocks with the damping shot would be no improvement....

Pidcocks Long Eaton Nottingham

They had a 1150 demonstrator fitted with hyperpro's. Of the people I know that had a go most couldn't feel any difference.
Thats perhaps something to do with it being a new bike anyway.

"would like to upgrade my suspension but overa grand for a set of ohlins is too much at the moment.."

Hi pthagonal,

I have just (last week) ordered a front and rear Ohlins from Motorworks @680.00 inc. postage - considerably less than a 'grand'. They have (or had!) a 10% sale on. Haven't got them yet though, must still be in the post

Can't wait!

yep thats sterling.. in euro its over a grand ... and i cant justify that much money right now.. maybe in a few months..

but the springs are 158 euros plus postage.. not bad for a quick boost..

anyways we will see..

if i get them i will give a full report on how they feel..

ok

regards

as they say you know you want them.ohlins that is.

By my caluclations at todays exchange rate it is to be precise:

680.00 GBP United Kingdom Pounds = 1,000.51 Euro. Looks like you're just 51euro cents short!!! ;)

lol

i know i know..

only a grand.. anyone here ned a kidney?

ive got one going spare..

slightly used and has a good tolerance for alcohol?

any takers?

pthag

ps will probably need an extra 50 or so for postage.. too

I am going to replace my standard springs with Hyperpro's progressive rate ones within the next month, bike's only done 1500 miles so the damping should be ok. Have been quoted £131.81 for the pair. There's some talk on the Advrider website regarding this subject.
