Where can I get these 'Life fairies', do they fit a 1200 and can you get them in Blue and Silver?

As for IAM. I find them to be much like any collection of Humans, a mixed bunch. My approach was to use my (half) brain to filter what I was being told into a) Valid and useful and b) Bollocks. Hey pres studs, a pass. Not what the IAM would want to hear but some of those guys apply what they've learned to ride VERY fast. Funnily enough, the ones that tend towards real world stuff rather than abstract debate on minutia tend not to apply the Flouri Jackets whilst riding.

All very scientific I'm sure you'll agree.

I have just passed my "observers Exam" with the IAM, I have undergone an eight week theory sessions in how to pass on the system effectively, how to deal with differnent types of rider, then 6 practical on road sessions doing the same thing, A theory exam with 90% pass rate reqired, then an observed first session with a genuine associate, I observed him while the senior observer observed me. I feel happy to help and have the tools and support to turn, what often comes in as really bad and unsafe riders into self critical riders who constantly assess what they are doing and why... I am lucky to be involved with a passionate group who care, I guess not all are the same !!
