Can't do as well as.....the laws of economics prevent me. After 5 years of GS ownership, this might make a nice break. I'd be back later though, once the twins have grown a little and my wife has more time to join me on trips, but in the meantime.........

Looks great :drool

But what's going on with the exhaust? Looks like 2 into 1 into 2 :nenau

It is, to get through euro emissions testing. Word on the street is that there'll be an aftermarket 2-1 almost immediately. I've been reading the launch tests, almost all of which comment on low speed fueling problems, with stalling quite common. Hopefully this will be sorted quickly, and the associated snatchiness will either have been dealt with or as with the previous model (610) have some fixes or be improved after the first service.

I've got to say, I'm very very tempted.

Have you considered the 690 KTM?:augie

It looks like I might have no other choice, if I decide to change to a thumper. The Husqvarna importer is not bringing the TE 630 to Turkey. This is odd as it would be the only real competitor to the 690 which is selling quite well here, but then they have never been very active at marketing the Huskies and seem to prefer to build their Turkish bike manufacturing business instead. I've no idea why Husqvarna don't dump them and look for a new partner, I'm certain they'd sell well here.

The KTM is pricey here though, at 12,500 Euros. The TE 610, is 9,300 and the 630 would probably have been another 500 on top, which would have left enough to add risers, pivot pegz, tail rack and luggage, after market cans and enough fuel for a trip around Turkey for a couple of weeks......not that I had a plan in mind.

I'd consider importing one myself, if I weren't so concerned with warranties, possible recalls and servicing. I'm pretty certain the importer here wouldn't see any warranty as valid, if the bike were not sold by them and taking it to one of their service people (only 3 certified Husky mechanics in the whole of Turkey) would mean them working on a bike they've never seen before and have no training on....too risky for me.

I've written to Husqvarna, to complain about the importer and the lack of bikes, but not heard back yet. I might even put myself forward as an alternative importer....if I sell ten bikes in a year I'll be doing better than the muppets currently in control.
