It was a bit overdue on checking valve clearances, so I decided to do the job over the Xmas break.
As it's a shim-job, the cams had to come out. I haven't had an engine apart for years, so quite enjoyed the fiddling. It's not a difficult job - in fact the hardest part was finding some new shims. The erstwhile Suzuki dealer in Hertford (Bob Hill) appears to have gone tits-up, so I carried on the Colin Collins in Letchworth who had a selection in stock.
It's all back together now, ready to go to work on Tuesday.
