i have 1/2 a GS....read on as im sure ive just baffled most...

well i bought a r1150r rockster, wanted a more roady bike, and love the boxer engines...

its the same engine as a GS, and its been upgraded to 1150GS front and rear shocks so it sits higher, and i can do this nifty trick~ i can put it on the centre stand whilst im sat on it!!!!!!!, even more scary is if i use the sidestand,-----it almost lying down on its side, looking like its gonna tip ( well not quite but u get the idea)



ive had a r1100rs before and a variety of other bikes, but i dont believe for a 'real world' bike you can beet a bmw. combination fo the torquey motor and unrivaled paralever and thingylever suspension.

i firmly believe no one should pass any kinda judgement untill they had got on and had a go!

I have a job reaching the floor on an 1150 GSA so those kind of tricks are out of the question :clap

ill have to post a link of a picture of it or summit tomorrow ( im too cheep to subscribe just yet), the rocky is a little scratty bless for a 2003... but for the steal of 2k for it im still laughing:beerjug:

as far as seven foot tall goes im not quite 6.... its on GS, not GSA shocks so its doable with a pelvic twist of sorts from a seated riding position:thumb

I just wish they had put the cruiser rear monolever drive in them.
As some know on here, I nearly bought a 1200c because it's a monolever but they quoted me 6 + months for delivery:tears
So although I still don't own an oilyhead, the Rockster could STILL tempt me :augie:augie
