I keep losing the telelever end caps??

Any ideas, last time ok, I lost one because the LH Bolt was loose this time I lost the cap on the right, nothing pushing as it has a circlip?? Plus the LHS was pushing out??

Expansion / contraction of air behind it we have extremes of temp here??

I found mine missing after some altitude riding, it may have been a coincidence.

Solved the problem with some silicone sealer, just a small dab is enough.

I blame the heat of the environment. Better to lose a few end caps while riding in hot and sunny weather than losing your vitals in yer trousers riding in the UK, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

There's actually a craze for nicking them.

Remember the Beastie Boys and the VW emblems? Well, it seems now that Lily Allen fans are going around stealing paralever endcaps. No idea what they do with them, mind you.

Its blerry cold at night here currently (mid winter and high altitude= sub zero) I think the trapped air pops them out when it gets warm?? But its sunny and about 15C in the day
