Had my 650 for a couple of weeks now, and getting used to it. But, coming to work this morning, I said tot myself i would tootle along, keeping the speed down and taking advantage of the excellent fuel consumption.
Well, that lasted a long time! For about 30 minutes until about five miles from work, when I couldn't resist and covered the rest of the commute with alacrity. Otherwise known as thashing the bollix off it!! Bloody hell, these singles crack on, don't they??? I must say, I am mightily impressed with this beastie. It is amazingly smooth for a single and whips up to quite silly speeds nicely.
Must try harder on the way home not to wring it's neck. Well, not all the way home, anyway

Adds at least ten miles an hour to the top speed. Its to do with the slipperiness of the colour, you see.
