Hey everyone,

Joined the club here, although I'm here in the U.S. I enjoy reading about GS's from the other side. I get in about 2000-3000 mi. a month on this side, on a 04 Adventure. GREAT bikes huh???? I look forward to reading about everyone's rides, and maybe even chirping in every once in a while.

Ride safe and Ride hard!!!

Southwest Arizona

Hey Keith,

I'm in the Southwest part of the U.S. The Southwest part of Arizona to be even closer. I live in a little, one lung town called Bullhead City. Across the Colorado River is Laughlin, Nevada which is where I work. It maybe a small town, but the riding is great. A lot of the cowboy history of the U.S. took place around here. Tombstone is only about 5 hours a way, that kind of thing. There's 20 150 year old mining roads and stage coach trails for every one paved road. Its also a great centralized area to ride from. June I did 1,500 miles in 4 days riding into Northwest Colorado State. August my wife and I did 1,500 miles up the coast of California. The Grand canyon is only about 4 hours away, which we go to quite often because we backpack when we're nnot riding. I'd include pics but I can't do that on this forum. You can email me at [email protected] if you're interested. I'd love to see your ride and some of the places you've been.....:beerjug:

Hi Chris..welcome to the forum. I hoped to do a bit of route 66 around Kingman and then head up past Dolan Springs to that end of Grand Canyon when I was over there earlier this year but we ran out of time and rode down to Big Bear Lake instead.
We were on Goldwings but should have hired GSs.
You never know next time maybe

Hi Chris,
I was in Nevada a couple of years ago with my wife / we stayed in Reno and travelled up to Lake Taho, Carson City, Virginia City etc. in fact I bought a second hand American Gibson Banjo in Carson city out of a pawn shop which was situated next to the hotel where John Wayne made his last Western film {The Shootist}.

Last year we were in Montana with a group of American Hunters who had been over here in Scotland with me hunting the previous year. We stayed in Big Sky Montana and visited Yellowstone etc, I got to fly fish and caught a monster Trout in the river at Big Sky.

Keep in Touch.

Regards...................Keith C.
