Exactly what I do: very easy for Exchange. You'll need to know Mail Server, Domain name as well as your Username & password and they may even set the account up in the shop for you...

Should be pretty straight forward as E. Bygum says - best thing to do would be to speak to your IT people.

Just because you are using Outlook it doesn't mean the email server is Exchange - some mailservers will be easier to configure than others but it should be possible.

The one thing I would check is that your email is IMAP and not POP (your IT guys will know :) )

If you are using POP then what happens is that the email is stored on the device which received it so you might end up with half your emails on your phone and half on your work computer. With IMAP the emails get properly synchronised and you should have all your emails on all your devices

do you know for sure that your work supports external email on none company devices? My company, meaning me, doesnt and if an employee requires access from a phone they are given a Blackberry. It all depends on how secure your work wants its email to be. If it is exchange then it will most likely be through active sync and all you need for that is the URL for your webmail and put your username password on and thats it. Course you could always just use that in the phone browser as well.
