I am thinking of getting a GPS for the bike, and want to be able to use it in the car, as it would be handy for work.

I am no wiz with GPS technology and have looked at the myriad of options and got lost. I want a reasonably priced option, that will give me voice nav for the car, and track where i have been.

Hoping to use it in europe.

Can anyone recommend a good starting package?

These aren't cheap but they're portable and fit in the car. Voice nav can get on your nerves though.

This one comes with the North American base map.

The logical answer would be a Streetpilot III from Costco, this would meet your needs, ie voice nav and European mapping, The deluxe kit is very comprehensive including a bean bag mount for the car, at around £540 it’s a good deal.

Choices choices

Cheers Guys,
Currently looking at the 60C, but have read a few comments on short memory capacity..

Is this likly to be a problem for travelling in europe..?
The main need is for the bike for green laneing and would also be useful for the car for work.

I like the look of the 60C, but not sure if its worth going for the streepilot III whats the advanctage of the streetpilot?
