If this was a commercially built bike, i'm sure there would be some uptake

Wannabe HP2 :augie :D

I got a mate who's busy building one honestly. Been taking him over two years thus far as he get's cash strapped every time. About 80% finished. Even went down the route dropping the fuel injection and fitted some proper BING carbs :thumb

He is in South-Africa at the moment will get an update once he is back and hopefully stick some pics on here :beerjug:

It does look really great :drool

But what does it have that an HP2 doesn't? :nenau

The HP2 has less weight, more torque and power, custom chassis (based on the R900RR), a longer swing arm and probably cost the same or less...

you are so right Mav,
Iwouldnt dream of swapping my HP2 for one. I think it just brings out the ''I could do that thought in ya head''.
actually if i ever have enough spare cash I might try.

Lovely looking thing......I really like it......But, a HP2 would just p**s all over it........Nice though........:)

2 front discs and a heavier flywheel:augie

C'mon JB - I expected better of you. Is that the best you can manage??

No-one carries 2 discs on the dirt for good reason and as for a heavier flywheel - the HP2 has 20% more torque, you think it still needs a heavier flywheel?

Isn't that just an 1150 with a set of forks on and a different tank:nenau

Oh,and they've taken the screen off as well:mmmm

Well spotted Vern, look they even took that paralever thingie out between the front wheel and motor which we all know keeps the 1150 from falling apart. That thing will never work :eek :D

Tarts handbag

The forks and the knobblies look the part but the plastic bodywork would crumple at the first sign of a drop off road, and no sumpguard:eek and what's with the polished passenger grab handle?

:popcorn:popcorn
