I got a similar thing included for free when I bought my Klim Badlands. It's a plastic card with all my contact details etc. which lives in a small pocket on the left forearm and is marked with a big yellow star.

Seems to be a good idea, provided emergency services know what to look for.

I have a small card that I laminated and carry with me when I'm cycling, contact details, blood group etc.

However ....

If you have an iPhone (or similar) you can do it on the cheap .... create a note with all the ICE details you want, emergency numbers, contacts, blood group, etc, then save it as an image (on the iPhone pressing the home and power buttons together will save a photo of the current screen).
If you then set this image as your "lock-screen wallpaper" (Settings / Wallpaper & Brightness / Choose a new Wallpaper / Camera Roll) it will show on the phone irrespective of whether the phone has a passcode lock

Not sure about this, had one of the ICE usb sticks, that bust, I just have a dog tag on my lanyard with mi keys, tried the ice thing on an iphone screen, no good when you smash the glass, but worth doing anyway. I ride on mi tod quite a bit so I think you have to have something. There's also a card to stick in your helmet lining you just put a green sticker on the side of your visor.

Better still let's all ride safe and make it home
