Iceland Biking Viking

Has anyone used Biking Viking recently? I am considering renting from someone like them for a tour of Iceland as it seems very expensive to ship the bike there. I had at one time hoped to ferry from Scotland to Shetland to faroes to Iceland but that seems to have been scuppered.
Anyone got any ideas or experience of renting in Iceland, and is it okay for two-up touring on rentals?

I have done lots of Euro and USA touring but Iceland seems a little different.

You can still take the ferry but you need to go from Denmark. It is the same company (Smyril Line), it's just that they don't go to the Shetlands or Bergen anymore. If anything, it is probably even easier for you as you don't have to travel to Aberdeen and then off to the Shetlands. Instead, just tootle up to northern Denmark.

If you do take the ferry, you still get a chance to stop over for a few days in the Faroes, which I can well recommend.
