I bought some of this gear in Rékjavik a few weeks ago, great for the winter and it does what it says on the tin!!! :thumb

I particularly like the expressions of the clothing models faces, I imagine I looked a bit like that considering the weather and the temperature and the price of a beer or two!!!

Jeez,what a bunch of miserable ba5tard5.
Even the kid looks pi55ed off and as for the bloke model:axe murderer if ever i saw one. :(

GGGGRRRRRR! Not Puffin for tea Again!!!

You'd look p*ssed off after three hours on that 'rollercoaster' ferry ride(Herjólfur to Heimay) only to discover a volcano had nearly wiped out your town(1973) and there was only 'thrice' boiled Puffin for tea!!

The jackets not bad though, I got the longer version which comes complete with 'Puffin' pockets and a scowl!!

We met some great kids there who 'rescue' the Puffins at 'Pufling' time(help them to the sea) and promptly eat them a few months later when they were fullgrown!

There is a bike club on the Westermann Islands(Heimay) it has about twenty five members the Icelandic name for the bike club is SH*T and the club badge is two crossed toilet plungers!!! :ymca That is absolutely true and there must only be about five miles of road there! :D

The reason the club got that name is because at bikemeets on the mainland when these guys were asked where is your bike club from and they said Vestmannæyjar, the usual reply given was Sh*T! So the name has stuck so to speak!
