No heater wanted thanks.A nice warm sleeping bag will do with an Exped Downmat.

I've used inflatable sleeping mats for years. The Exped Downmat makes a noticeable difference. Certainly better than anything else I have tried.

Sorry, I meant Sidi Adventure 2’s!Good point, if you do have one can I borrow it I’ve an idea to erect a magical kingdom.
I’ve been a few times and if you want to PM me with any questions happy to help.
For example, Crossfires are big ( I have a pair) and much prefer the Sidi adventure which has served well in Iceland and reasonable to get on off and keep dry through streams. I also have an XL Klim badlands.
The gortex jobbies with better ankle protection. Smug pointed that out to me on Saturday. I have an Exped MegaMat 10 arriving today.I've used inflatable sleeping mats for years. The Exped Downmat makes a noticeable difference. Certainly better than anything else I have tried.

Just about perfect for what I was after. Only got 4 tent pegs holding it up in the pictures but is surprisingly stable at that.

It’s on its way.You forgot the footprint!
