If I sell my GPS, can the purchaser use the maps that go with it?

I have an SP3 with CN v7 and the update DVD for CN Europe v8 - both of which I have unlocked on my PC. I have also registered with Garmin. I now plan to sell the SP3 together with the CNv7 and v8. My question is, will the purchaser be able to access the maps easily? Do they also need to unlock them on the PC they use, or can they simply install everything and the maps will recognise the SP3 they were unlocked to and so no problems?

I don't want to misinform any potential buyers of what they can and can't do, so any advice most appreciated.

Secondly - if I get a Garmin 2610, do I then reinstall everything again? A little confused on that one?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it appears that you can transfer ownership of the software.

They will need to use the unlock codes that you have to set the maps up on their PC, you will no longer be able to use the mapping as, I believe, the unlock code ties it to the SP3. If you've registered a 2nd unit to the mapping (you are allowed to unlock 2 units to the same copy of City Nav/Select) then it gets a little more complicated.
