Wow. That rear conversion looks really good. Where did you get that? It this custom made, of is there a kit somewhere for sale? Like a saddle and plastic kit. Where did the fuel filler cap go?

Edit: this seems to be complete conversion kit offered bij BMW of Italy. Does anyone know if this kit is still available?

hi Max. this is not my bike but a few pics i saw on the bmw italia site.
It is a kit.
consists of seat,rear tailpiece,rearlight
rear side panels,subframe ,single exhaust silencer and smaller fuel tank.
filler cap is under the seat on top of the fuel tank.
not sure if still available ?
unsure of the cost.
anyone else have any info?

Hey guys,

I found a supplier for this conversion kit. The're called Pan Racing and they are in Italy. the complete kit comes with 18" and 21" rims, spokes, saddle kit, plastic, rear subframe, 11 ltr fuel tank, sprockets & chain and titanium silencer. Total price around €2800,- but you can order seperate parts.

I never thought i'd say this, but having my II00 off the road for 6 weeks or so has ment me bimbling around on my XTZ600 and going up to the Isle of Bute on Kirst's 650 Dakar, and now i'm not sure i need an 1100 anymore. Kirst and myself did the Stelvio and MC Aspach Rallies in July and OK it was a slower trip but the 650 coped admirally.
