Hi I'm been the proud owner of a gs1100 for some 3 months or so now and have seen one or two others floating around south wales area.....and then discovered this forum!
I know winter is acoming but if there are any rideouts arranged it would be good to join in, (I do spend more time trail riding than on road from here on in). If you like tecky challenges then can you help me by explaining how this forum works using simple words please! I am a geordie living near cardiff!

That doesn't put them off Russ! There was very good ride out just after Christmas last year. Just keep an eye on the "Wales" section of the "Areas" bit or the "Local Rideouts" section. No doubt we will see you at Abergavenny or the West End Cafe sometime.russ996duke said:
You can either click on the sections that interest you eg "Technical" if that's what floats your boat, but one of the best time saving features is the "Show Threads from x days ago:" facility at the top of the page on the main menu. This will only give you threads that have been updated in x days. Took me months to figure that out, but you will find it very useful. The Moderators are there to keep an eye on things - sometimes things get a bit out of hand, but it's rare. (my previous bikes include fireblades and the like which were all very well BUT which should be supplied with a winch to remove this rider after 120 miles!)
