I recommend that anyone who is confident installs the patch referred to as this thing is very nasty! There are infected Windows Media Files already in circulation as emails, and also "seeded" websites where there are "wmf" files placed to infect your computer.

I recommend that you read this and if you feel confident follow the instrcutions here and install this temporary patch that will protect your computer in the meantime until Microsoft release a patch themselves!
