No, not really. The purist will be mad. Besides, THE MAESTRO is still alive and may get upset...
So let's say "adapted to my needs"
The thing is, although the boxes are superb built, the mounting system is, shall we say less friendly?
Aparently The Maestro designed the thingies to be mounted, bolted and left in the bike till the end of time. Or, if you want them to be remobable, you'll need a string round your neck to support the boxes while bolting.
So with a bit of profound meditation I came up with a way to make the task easier. Particulary if they are loaded with stuff...
Two hanles on the side of the boxes to lift and a hunging bracket to support the boxes and allow me to bolt them in place. Simple.
