Just wondering,

Apart from the usual Touratech and Wonderleich are there any other independent BMW accessory shops in Germany worth a visit? Not just GS stuff but general boxers and K’s bits and pieces.

Don't forget that Germany's a large country, so it depends where you plan to visit. In addition to the BMW owned dealerships in the larger cities, most of the "independent" (but still official) BMW dealers often have a wide range of other bits and pieces.

One completely independent shop is Siebenrock (www.siebenrock.com). They have an amazing range of stuff and also lots of classic BMWs for sale.

If you can narrow doen the area a bit, maybe I can help you further :)

This trip we will proberly end up around Trier for a few days, but the wider Germany would be usefull as I would like save them as waypoints for other trips. I'm not sad enough to plan a Tour around them, but just looking to use them as day trips over good roads, somewhere to stop get a coffee and have a look around.
