Independent BMW servicing in the Cotswolds area?

Hi there folks, I'm relocating to the central Cotswolds area in Jan and have a 2013 GS1200 LC which will require a service and MOT in March. Anyone recommend a decent independent within an hour's ride?

Any suggestions appreciated

I keep meaning to call them as they are well regarded. I'm lazy though and Cotswold Motorrad is 2 miles away, has nice coffee, posh biscuits, free wifi, comfy sofas and brand new demo bikes.

Another upvote for Stroud MC. Mike is very knowledgeable and incredibly thorough - for instance, at the most recent service, he noticed that a bit of wiring I'd added was slightly rubbing on something, so he added a cable tie. Not a difficult or time-consuming job, but I think it demonstrates a laudable attention to detail.

On another occasion, my wife's old 2005 GS had the ring antenna problem, causing it to be unwilling to start. This was late on a Friday afternoon, and we were in France on the first day of our holiday. We called Mike and chatted with him, and he immediately diagnosed the likely problem (correctly) and recommended a workaround that kept us going until we could get it properly fixed.

I could go on. I can't recommend Stroud MC highly enough. And my wife adores Mike too, and she's a pretty good judge of character (ahem ).
