Website update

It wisnae easy but I've got my website to be a wee bit more informative. Have a look at http://www.bricksnboxers.scot/
See what you think.
I've avoided putting prices and rates on the site because I usually find myself thinking about numbers after I've reviewed what's been done on the job and what's FAIR for everyone.
As a rule of thumb I try and work to £100 per day so there's some info to go on. There are no "business hours" there because I'll answer the phone at any reasonable time of day. I don't answer unknowns or withelds because these calls are usually folk trying to sell me PPI or similar.

Your approach looks great. I wish you success (a bit far for me to travel) :beerjug:

And too far south for me unfortunately :blast

All the best though and hope it goes well :thumb2

Sounds a fair price per day..

Davey B I did have a chappie from Newcastleton his ABS was troublesom and he wanted it removed so that's what we did. Probably a good selling point given the reputation of ABS ii's. Luckily he could trailer his bike to me and left it for a while. Newcastlrton's a lovely place but not the best for general vehicle-less access.

Might make a trip south come the spring

Hullo Northern jock you're welcome anytime (with some notice - the workshop is only big enough for one at a time). Tony X from Inverness brought me his R100 for piston rings and etc. He is 60+ and (like me) has an "old-git" card so the bus cost him nothing and I gave him a lift to Kilwinning rail station a mile away.
Another chap with an R1150RS (Ken X) which was running poorly brought the bike here from Inverness left it and took the train home and back the following week. I managed to "sort" the bike and I suppose even though the train fares are a fortune (unless you have a discount card of some sort) by the time you look at the total cost of the repair it works out that one is still ahea
