Independent workshop - South Coast?

Hi

My R1150GSA could probably do with someone looking at it - it is running well, but rich, despite all my efforts to lean it off.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an independent somewhere near the South Coast (say, betwixt Brighton and Portsmouth) who they are prepared to recommend?

No doubt the local BMW dealer in Portslade could sort me out but in my experience, they are only prepared to do set work as described in their workshop bible - most of which I already do for myself, so don't want to pay somebody else to repeat.

Can one assume that your location is no longer Exeter, or that there must be some particular reason why you want to head east?

Your not that far away so why not have a round trip to see Steptoe?, he'll sort you out and no rip off.

has a new digital tuning toy which has improved my bike - he's near junction 9 of M1.... it's an hour from the M23/M25 junction

People already come over from the continent especially to get their bikes serviced by him
