Well we are half way through our three week stint in India after a few months in SEA.
Last time I was in India was 18 years ago, the country at first glance seems to have little changed in that time, but the people are so much more shanti shanti its untrue. I cant believe how much better it is now than before. Even my seven year old is having a great time despite the fact I was worried about his reaction to India he is not having any trouble at all.
Fantastic, if anyone has been holding back a trip to India due to being afraid of problems all I can say to them is now is the time to come.
We have been alternating between restaurant food and street food. IMHO the street food is safer and cheaper.
Tabla lessons for son Neil and Sitar lessons for son Tom every day for 1.20....
Bought a tabla for 50quid and am seriously thinking of buying a reasonable sitar for 100quid...
Cheers to all back in Ireland middle of April.
Namaste
