Been getting this type of call round these parts for a couple of years, and its been brought up on here a few times. It sounds like you've probably shut the stable door and put all the bolts on now.

Bottom_line these 'organisations' (Microsoft/Norton/Google etc.) never make house-calls and never telephone you, PERIOD!

Unless you've raised a ticket with an organisation and requested a call back, hang up, say nothing. End of.

Do you remember the bloke and his mate who came knocking on the door saying there's a leek and it appears to be coming from your house, let us in show us your stopcock then go in the kitchen and run a tap while we check the upstairs flow? Well two years ago he gave up the plumbing lark and bought a computer and a phone :comfort
