Indicator issues

Right indicator no longer works and I can't turn off the left indicator manually (have to wait for it to time out). Any known issues with the left controls before I try and pull it apart and poke around?

Bike is a 2013 F800GSA with LED indicators

My 3013 F700 gs lost the right indicator on inspection the micro switch inside had stuck .The controls are cheap and nasty (and expensive )£200 to replace left cluster BMW didnt want to know cos out of warranty got second hand item from Motorworks and they reckon I will be back for more .I am told however the right hand starter button does the same trick but BMW will do this as a goodwill gesture .Hope this helps

I'm guessing the newer bikes have indicator switches that can be cancelled at either side? My 2008 model has just one cancel switch on the right hand bar which you flick up with your thumb to cancel. It seems quite chunky and well made ( so far)

Japanese style indicator switch these days (I miss the old style).

Yes Single switch indicators much preferred one on each bar and the quality seemed better

Second hand replacement ordered from Motorworks (fingers crossed for a good unit).
