Can i pick your brains please?

I am just doing some work on a 1150GS and want to replace some of the 2 core wire to the rear indicators.

Can anyone tell me what spec i should actually aim to get please?

Thanks in advance

Stu

wire

just go in to a car accessorie shop and get a bit of flat twin flex you'll soon see if it's the right type.

P=VI

Power = Volts x Current

The indicator bulb is likely to be 8watts or 10 watts.
Thus 10 = 12 x Current.
Current is 0.83Amps
Wire rated 1- 2 amps will be fine. (But you can use heavier\higher rating if available)

Thanks for the tips guys, only need about 18 inches of it unfortunately but the previous owner of this bike i'm doing up had used what looked like household 3core:blast to extend the wires so want to get it back to near normal as possible.

Cheers :thumb2

Stu,
How quick do you need the cable?
If you give me a shout this Sat, you could pop up to me and I'll sort out what you need from my stock.
