Are indicators mandatory for MOT or are they 'must be working if fitted' ? (TRAILEE)
Any Hexberts.

Hi I do not know this as a fact but was advised that as long as the bike is not equipped to carry a passenger, then indicators are not required for an MOT...I hope this is right coz my xr400 is due for an MOT next month!, apparently they check for roadworthiness, not that everything complies with current EU legislation which has replaced what were the construction and use rules that the police still use!, It might be worth talking to your friendly MOT station first tho' and see how they feel about it!

oops just reread your post....if the bike has indicators fitted then they must work!! so if they don't, take em off!
