indicators on their panniers?

Has anyone thought about or modified their rear indicators to extend them onto their hard panniers? Just thinking that perhaps extending them out rather than shortening them might make it more visible. If I could source the right lights it could be possible to extend the break lights as well?

You want to go to your MoT guy and ask exactly what the measurements are to fit the regs. Or do a bit of Googling.
Apart from the spacing, I guess the next issue would be that panniers may be on or off the bike. That could be an MoT gripe and you'd need to get wiring sorted outed. (Who said CANBUS?)

Mine work fine as they are. If you want it to look like a Tart's Handbag; buy a 'Wing...
