Hi all those vertically challenged

The definitive answer on getting those feet down: I'm 5'6", and was worried about height and weight of the 12. Bought one that had already had the rear shock lowered (try Hagon shocks - new one will cost around £300), but still felt teetering on tippytoes - not good for confidence on dodgy cambers. Bike already had the lowered seat, but decided to try the Touratech Kahedo extra low. Contrary to the experience of some of the threads here, have to say TT delivered within the week!....maybe I was lucky.
Tried the seat and couldn't really tell a difference between the TT and BM when stationary - decided to take it for a ride and try. It IS very different! You only really notice when you're riding and come up to junctions -the shape is v different and lets you move around much more - much easier for getting those feet completely down! If I swing across the seat a bit I can even get some bend in the knee....(joy). The sculpting is great under hard acceleration - kind of hugs your back.
And I just love the bike - huge road presence, brilliant balance, huge fun and kind of makes you feel indestructable....
So there you go - TT seat is expensive but worth it if you're struggling height-wise.
Now I've got a couple of spare seats (original and low) if anyone is interested?....
Happy riding everyone
