Funny we saw the same sign a few years back
I used to work in Meribel and passed it at least twice a week for 4 months on my way to Albertville, Annecy or Geneva. I never had a camera on my all those years ago so on a trip to Val D'isere in 2006 I was at the front of the bus with camera at the ready
From memory there is a restaurant on top of a rock around that area. Again a place I intended to visit but never got around to it.
