How do I input co-ordinates in to my Nav.II?

I can only find options for Country, City, Road name & Postcode etc?

I think you can only put co-ordinates into Mapsource then save them as waypoints and transfer them into the unit. Could be wrong mind! :)

Thanks for the info, managed to enter a waypoint from C to GPS once I'd found it on Mapsource.

Is it possible to enter a set of co-ordinates straight in to Mapsource & then download to the GPS?

Once a waypoint has been saved, is it possible to rename it to aid identification in the future just by looking at the title rather than having to go to the waypoint map?

Thanks in advance:beerjug:

You can give the waypoint a 20 digit name in Mapsource but only 10 digits are displayed on the 2610. So when I create waypoints in mapsource I use less than 10 digits to name it. Then the whole name is visible when you go to find/ Waypoints.

:)

GPS only method.
Create a waypoint using Mark - anywhere will do.
Goto Edit it and input your desired co-ords
