Installing HIDs - What am I doing wrong?

Bought from the bloke on here that used to sell them. Can't remember his name. I think it's the same business as les wassel now.

First fitted on my 07 GSA then my 11 GSA. I remember now,that I got lamf error occasionally when on the 11 bike. Cured with an updated unit for the dip, bought from les.

That answers the question then fella, 2008 bikes and onwards had a more sensitive Canbus system and require a more sophisticated ballast. This is what they don't tell you in the Ebay ads unfortunately.

HELP spot lights

Hi all
Hope someone on here can help me figure out why my hid spotlights are
Playing up.bought some hella micro de spotlights, and a pair of 35w ballasts and 6000k bulbs I have managed to convert my Hellas to HIDs fitted to 2009 1200gs
Also bought from here bmw fog light switch,loom,and relay all brand new fitted
Them as instructed all works fine but after a while one spot will go out it is random either left or right but when one is out the other will stay on no problem
When I switch them off and straight away switch them back on they will both stay on for maybe ten minutes maybe thirty minutes, maybe left goes out maybe right. It is driving me bonkers.all is wired correctly loom is pretty much plug and play really
Any help will be greatly appreciated

First of all, the Hella DE units you have bought are probably foglights, because Hella DE driving lights all come with HID as standard and a price to match.
On to your problem.
It is likely that the ballast electronics are interacting. Many of these ballasts generate serious harmonics. (dependent upon make and also random)
This is sufficient to stop some electronics working at all. E.G. Autoswitches which use the indicator cancel button to function.
The easiest test is to borrow a couple of different ballasts of a different make and try them.

I bought Hella DE driving lights and they AREN'T HID.....
