Instructions for shock replacement

I've got some new standard shocks/springs for my 1150gs. Does anyone know of any foolproof instructions or a hint and tip document? I've searched this site without success.... I have the BMW manual and it looks relatively easy but any advice would be great.

I replaced the shocks on my GSA a couple of months ago it's pretty straight forward really. I am hoping to pop down to Harlow on friday evening to pick up a remus for the bike, if you want I can pop round and give you a few pointers?
