Insurance Dilemma F650 : 650CC or 789 CC ??

I am facing a dilemma with regard to what to put down on my insurance application for my F650 GS 08. while my registration certificate state that the engine size is 640 CC, the manual and the truth is that it is 789CC, The insurer keep saying that this may invalidate my insurance and I need to get things matching before Applying for my insurance.

any thoughts, Did anyone come cross this before ?

I used BM insurance and they knew from the registration what the cc was. The model designation has nothing to do with the cc of the bike, sounds like you need to get the registartion certificate corrected, asap.

It's on your V5 as a 640cc... Isn't that illegal?

I rung the Dvla and they asked me to send back the V5 and a proof from the dealer showing the "Wright size " ?!! isnt that bit obvious ..
