As I understand it the BMW alarm is not thatcham approved is it, so no insurance discount anyway.

We don't. It's just that Snoopy is a high risk for any insurer.

Strange - it was BMW insurance that told me it didn't matter whether I included the alarm on the specification or not.

Mind you, cost of alarm versus discount offered may not stack up anyway.

i suppose you have to fuck around with using the lock every time you stop too, or you won't be covered?
