Thought I would stick this on here, since eveybody seems to bang on about Autocomm, I though it was about time somebody championed one of the other manufacturers.

I bought the Intaride EVO, as an alternative to the Standard Autocomm, I must admit to being impressed by this bit of kit, it has all the same features as the Super pro but at a greatly reduced cost.

I was hoping to add a PMR radio set up(probably there Wintec A80, gets brilliant revues whereever it's tested) to the kit in the near future, so got in touch with Intaride to find out the pin outs for some of there connectors, during this conversation, I found out that they had updated the software since I had bought mine and offered to update it if I cover cost of postage, bargain thinks I, sent the unit away on Thurs recorded 1st class, unit was returned Sat morn.

Excellent service, the updated software seems to have ironed out some wee niggles that my wife noticed when the system is used without earplugs, since I always use the things I hadn't noticed the tone that came throught the speakers when we had finished talking, the update seems to have removed that totally, the unit also seems louder.

So if anybody is looing for an Intercomm don't dismiss the Intaride system, been very happy with it, and the company have been very good to deal with.

Intaride is a smaller company, better able to deal with an individual's requirements. Good personal service, and willing to do a deal. £114 for Wintec A80 plus spare 1500 mAh battery against £129 list.

Autocom just want to sell you parts that should have been part of the kit in first place.

Not really as every rider/customer is different! Would you be happy spending an extra £29 or £75 on the kit price that you might not need the extra parts or wonder what they are for. I think our kits are sold very well as they are as remember NOT everyone wants to run GPS, bluetooth phones or bike to bike.

So you buy the main kit then add the extras you need to get you connected, I would say this far more easier.

I would go along with this Rich, i am a very happy Auto Comm owner BUT...
I now find i need the BT bit of stuff for the Zumo ( that'll be 70 smackers please Sir ) i bet it don't stop at that thou. Bit like BM's base model and then rip off UK hits yer. Whats the cheapest part cost for any of the Auto Comm kits? I can buy ( put make here ) model of BT kit for a phone for £20.
Rant over..I still like my Auto Comm....:augie:thumb

I am another BIG supporter of Interide, the service cannot be faulted, the products are first class and they do not bring on the market a new product until they are 100% sure the end user will not have any problems. Very much unlike most companies in the Automotive world.

I recently recieved a letter offering a buy back of my old RP1 to upgrade to the EVO. Who else does that??? I did have to remind them that I had done that a year ago, but full marks for service.
