INTEGRA TEST

I had an Integra for a while, but then changed it for the S, perhaps I'm just not a scooter person, but apart from better weather protection I didn't really see the point and the S (&X) has a large storage space in the 'petrol tank' anyway. Other than that, the Integra is the same as the S & X under the plastic. My only wish is that the S had its rear brake lever up on the left handlebar, same as the Integra.

I took the 700 Integra out for a test ride last week,Did around 30 miles, using the Sport mode because thats really what i'd be using mostly, didn't fiddle too much with it, i concentrated on riding it ,

I was well impressed, the screen and fairing were spot on for me no buffeting around the helmet, I'm 6ft tall, the seating and handle bars were very comfortable, funny , not having a petrol tank between your knees, but I soon got used to it,

The engine/gearbox was soooo smooth, didn't feel it changing gear at all, very quick off the mark, well it is a 670cc so it should be I suppose, the road holding was impressive too, just like the NC,

I agree the luggage space is not as good as the NC , just big enough for a jet type helmet,

So I was sold, a brand new un registered 700 for £7K including Honda heated grips fitted, I'll sleep on it,

Following day I called my local Honda Dealer, who didn't have one in stock, but insisted I'd be much better off with the new model, the 750, " here goes" I thought, more expense ,lol,
I explained i'd had what i thought was a very good deal, But he told me the 750 model had quite a few modifications, and it would be worth me calling in to see him, and he would do me a very good deal, where have I heard that before,?

So off I tootled yesterday, £7,200 with Honda heated grips and a free first service, It was a no brainer , pick a colour, and it should be here in 10 days, (wish it was this easy when choosing my bmw) :D

Seems they've redesigned the seat and the front fairings to give more room for the knees, the rear swing arm,its now an alloy casting, the luggage areas been made bigger, and of course increased the cc to 750,

Sorry its a bit long winded, but someone may be interested :nenau Cheers ,Graham

It Arrived at the dealers yesterday !

that looks nice Mr. Could be tempted to change again:thumb2

I'd only seen these on YT vids and the appearance didn't do anything for me at all , and there certainly wasn't one at my Honda dealer when I took the NC out.

However, I have to say that looks pretty damn neat to me!

Whilst I don't do Faceache, I'm going to give you a 'Like' for that! :thumb2

Thanks JayC,

Also Honda do a sat nav brkt for the 660, but the dealer did a small mod and fitted my 220 Zumo, well pleased, only cost me £30 total

Interesting price! It is listed at £7800 in Bournemouth , the best part of £1K dearer than the NC750X DCT at £6900.

That's right JayC,

£7999 to be precise , I was little wrong with my price, he quoted me £7300, and when i said how about £7200 and you have a deal, he threw in the first service free, which would cost £93,

I was offered a 2013 NC 700, For £7200, no brainer really, and I much prefer my black one (that was from another dealer)

So there are always deals to be had, You have to be prepared to haggle and walk away if its not to your liking,

My point is it is considerably more expensive than the 750X DCT, that I tested , and I cannot see why, especially as the X DCT is motorcycle styled as opposed to scooter styling. Other than the lower seat height, that potentially reaches a larger market, what benefits does it offer over the sister bike that justifies an extra grand?
Even the 'old', now replaced NC700D you speak of comes in above the price of the 'New' NC750X DCT by some £800.00. Makes no sense to me at all. :nenau
